JRF and Project Assistant Positions at IISER Bhopal: Indian institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is an Institute of national importance, established by the MHRD; Govt. of India is committed to foster quality Science Education and Research, in frontier areas. IISER Bhopal has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 2 JRF and Project Assistant vacancies.
Total Vacancies: 2 Positions
Duration: 3 years. First two years as JRF/Project Assistant and third year as SRF/Project
Post: Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant
Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- pm +HRA as per SERB for non NET /GATE rule OR Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA for JRF for NET /GATE qualified candidates.
Eligibility: Interested candidates must have MSc in Physics/Chemistry (preferably with Physical Chemistry specialization)/Biophysics with a minimum of 60% Marks or
CGPA of 7.0 and above at a scale of 10 from the recognized University and must have Mathematics at the undergraduate (Bachelor) level.
Desirables: Candidates having sound knowledge in computer programing (C/C++/Fortran, Python, Perl etc.) and computational chemistry/physics experience, will be preferred.
Further, exposure to computer molecular simulations (such as Molecular Dynamics, Monte
Carlo methods) will be preferred.
